Description

Skystar ECM is a stylish and discreet ventilation convector that can be used for both heating and cooling. It works equally well for providing heat as it does for cooling a room. Skystar is always installed in the ceiling and is specially designed for built-in installation in a suspended ceiling. Skystar must always be complemented with a visible front panel. It also works well in ceilings without a suspended ceiling, and there is a special enclosure available as an option for this type of installation, called KIC. Skystar ECM has a very low noise level and is energy-efficient thanks to its EC fan motor. The regulation is stepless and goes from 0 to 100% with a 0-10V signal.

Skystar ECM is available in several different variants. There are two different sizes of ceiling cassettes, with dimensions of 60x60 cm or 80x80 cm for recessed installation in the ceiling. Both sizes can use both 2-pipe and 4-pipe systems. There are also several different power sizes to choose from. In addition, different models of Skystar ECM are prepared for different types of regulation. You can choose between SK-ECM and SK-ECM-MB. Read more about these under the Regulation section.

There is the possibility of connecting supply air to the convector. You can also connect outlets to direct the treated air to an adjacent room.

The water battery is made of copper and aluminum with internal threads. As standard, it can handle a maximum working pressure of 10 bar, but you can also custom order Skystar ECM with an even higher pressure class, 16 bar.

The ceiling cassette has a condensation-insulated housing made of electro-galvanized steel sheet. The cassette itself is mounted in the ceiling. We supply Skystar together with a washable filter, an external condensation tray, and a built-in condensate pump. The condensate pump can handle a maximum lifting height of up to 600 mm above the bottom of the ceiling cassette. The included condensate line is 470 mm outside the unit and should be directed vertically upward to reach 600 mm from the bottom of the appliance.

Always complement a recessed Skystar with a front panel, which you can order separately. There are two different panel options: HTA in ABS plastic and MD in steel sheet. Both are available for all sizes of Skystar ECM and are standard painted in white according to RAL9003. If you prefer a different color that matches your ceiling, you can choose a custom color coating.

Installation in Ceiling Without Suspended Ceiling: You can also install Skystar in rooms without a suspended ceiling. Since the ceiling cassette becomes visible, you choose to use a metal enclosure, KIC, instead of a front panel. This enclosure surrounds the ventilation convector and provides a neat result. KIC is white in color according to RAL9016 and is available as an accessory for both sizes of Skystar ECM.
