Ajax FireProtect 2 takes the previous edition's fire alarm (FireProtect) from Ajax with the goal of being even more precise and customizable.

Description

Ajax FireProtect 2 takes the previous edition's fire alarm (FireProtect) from Ajax with the goal of being even more precise and customizable. Just like its predecessor, the fire alarm alerts if it detects smoke or a strong increase in heat through its built-in siren, via an external siren, to your mobile app and to the alarm center if you have a connection there.

Apart from the new design, perhaps the biggest difference between the previous edition and the FireProtect 2 is the new smoke chamber. The new smoking chamber does not require regular cleaning and is more or less completely protected from dust and insects. This eliminates many common sources of false alarms.

FireProtect 2 comes with a dual-spectrum optical sensor to intelligently differentiate between smoke and steam. It also reacts quickly if synthetic materials are on fire and uses smart software to ensure that false alarms are sorted out. This makes the smoke detector very well suited even for tougher spaces such as a dusty garage or near a shower.
