Cable joint with specially developed terminal block for heating cables with extra shielding for earth braid.

Description

Cable joint with specially developed terminal block for heating cables with extra shielding for earth braid. Simplifies splicing considerably as no shrink tubes etc. is required. Can also be advantageously used for splicing ordinary cable.

Gel-filled boxes for moisture-protected splicing and branching. The gel mass is already filled in the boxes so no mixing of gel is required. The special gel mass means that the boxes can be reopened without affecting the enclosure class. The housing is made of self-extinguishing, hard-wearing, UV-resistant polypropylene. Unlimited storage time and with a lifespan of at least 30 years. Double insulated. Suitable for open mounting, burial or temporary immersion in water up to 1 m according to EN 50393. Non-toxic silicone gel that meets the requirements according to CE 67/548/EEC and CE 1999/45/EC. Halogen-free.
