Fire protection plate Sealpad is used to restore the fire resistance in wall and ceiling constructions after holes for boxes have been made.

Description

Fire protection plate Sealpad is used to restore the fire resistance in wall and ceiling constructions after holes for boxes have been made. Sealpad can be used on all types of appliance, junction or ceiling boxes to ensure fire protection in the construction. The wall or roof construction must be made in accordance with the requirements that apply to the respective fire class regarding board material, insulation type and wall thickness. Sealpad activates at 180°C and expands 30 times its own size within 15 minutes, filling the box with fire-resistant material and preventing the spread of fire and smoke through pipes between boxes. Sealpad works equally well regardless of whether the box is equipped with a switch, wall socket or is empty.
